Our association with Sunrise Capital Partners
Sunrise Global Investments maintains a close operational association with Sunrise Capital Partners in Mumbai. The two companies share the Sunrise name, a common approach to investment and many of the individuals responsible for it.

Nature of the association
Sunrise Global Investments is based in Muscat and invests across the GCC, Asia and Europe. Sunrise Capital Partners is an investment manager in Mumbai, regulated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), that invests in India.
The association provides Sunrise Global Investments with the experience of an established Indian investment team and extends the market perspective of both companies. Many individuals hold roles in both companies across different functions, and the teams collaborate in day-to-day operations, sharing market intelligence and jointly assessing investment opportunities.

Operational collaboration
Scope of the advisory agreement
Sunrise Capital Partners acts as a consultant to Sunrise Global Investments under a Consultancy and Support Services Agreement. Under the agreement its professionals provide market and sector research, data analysis, the origination and screening of investment opportunities, and due-diligence support, working together with our own team from origination to investment.
The services are advisory and non-discretionary. Sunrise Capital Partners has no authority to make investment decisions or to bind Sunrise Global Investments, and every investment decision is taken by our investment committee in Muscat.
In India, we invest as a foreign investor recognised by SEBI through the SEBI-registered fund managed by Sunrise Capital Fund Advisors (I) Private Limited, which aligns our interests with those of the Mumbai team. The diagram on How we invest illustrates the flow of capital.

Sunrise Capital Partners is an investment firm based in Mumbai whose team brings more than fifteen years of advisory, investment and transaction-structuring experience across India's public and private markets. The firm invests in Indian companies preparing to list, and acts as an anchor investor in public offerings.
Its investment manager, Sunrise Capital Fund Advisors (I) Private Limited, sponsors and manages Sunrise Opportunities AIF, an Alternative Investment Fund registered with SEBI as a Category II fund under the SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, 2012.

Legal and regulatory position
The two companies are separately owned and separately regulated: Sunrise Global Investments under the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the fund of Sunrise Capital Partners by SEBI. Investment decisions for Sunrise Global Investments are taken by its investment committee in Muscat. Where an individual holds an interest in both companies, a written conflicts protocol applies.
